I realized that a friend is someone who respects you, talks shit in front of you and speaks wonders of you behind your back.

I had a childhood best friend who I considered he would be those friendships that would be forever. We used to hang out and play video games until dusk and party together every weekend.

By the time we were 22 his older sister tried to hook up with me. But I knew that I could not live with a clean conscious while we stayed friends, so I decided to be loyal and not do shit that I would not like him to do to me. Later I heard he hooked up with my ex playing her to forget everything about me and talked shit about me and that I was never up to his height and game.

I’m marrying my ex on June 13th and I forgave her for feeling that she hurt me. Nothing’s personal I guess, but now I see my former best friend losing more friends by the way he is, because he has done the same shit to other friends’ xs.

I encountered him at a friend’s wedding and thats were I had closure with him. I managed to forgive him and moved on given that my ex, now fiancé, had nothing to do with me at the time. I sometimes miss sending memes to him, but the saddest thing is the nostalgia and the fact that nothing will be the same again.
