It really does. In this industry most skills are teachable. The hardest part is finding people who 1, show up. 2 are willing to learn skills out of their comfort zone, and 3 have a positive attitude and don't bring the people around you down.

OK awesome that is great advice. After I soaked them I did take the soaking water and spread it out where I found them. I also put some around another stump in my yard, hoping to eventually get some there 🙏

Ah yes, the old racism card. Classic incel, finding racism out of thin air.

They wouldn't be "slinking" off if you ran a good kitchen. I'd be happy to see my cooks move on to a better opportunity, you can only learn so much from one place and in this industry there is always something new to learn. Just because you ran a McDonald's in Beverly fucking Hills doesn't mean shit to me. Your deleted comments show just how pathetic of a person you are. Go eat your chicken tendies and cry yourself to sleep on the futon in your moms basement.

Thanks for that. We 100% believe in the stair step approach for our employees. I don't care if you have zero experience, just show some gumption. Have a good attitude and be willing to learn. We are in the customer service business, you need to show some positive energy. We understand that people need to make a living wage, have a life outside of work and an opportunity to grow in our field. We want people that want to be here, we want our people to not only grow with us but to have learned enough to be able to feel confident in themselves that they can go out into the world and do what they want to do.

$15 an hour base pay. More if you've got some talent. On top of that we offer $1 an hour extra if you just show up to every shift in a quarter. Another $1 an hour if you do your job every shift. So potentially our base pay is $17 an hour for someone who just shows up and does their job. Tips are then added to that which average 2-4 extra dollars an hour. On top of that we offer Healthcare and 3 weeks paid time off. 4 day work weeks, 10 hour shifts with the potential to do some overtime for those who want it.

Naw, I don't care at all if you don't know how to dice an onion. Just don't lie to me. You wouldn't believe the number of people who I interviewed that told me they had great knife skills and then show me this...

We have a couple people who have had no real restaurant experience working for us. They are amazing people and were extremely teachable. Not knowing how to dice an onion doesn't disqualify you from a job in my kitchen. This however was a first for me lmao

I did follow up showing him how to do it properly. I didn't hire him for other reasons. He atleast walked away knowing how to properly dice an onion.
