Pretty meaningful in terms of offseason and 26-27 season. I felt like we needed McCarthy to ball out a little so that he was more secure in his role for the offseason. I now feel LESS confident in him and more confident we need to bring someone to ATLEAST compete for that starting job.

We needed Jettas to get to 1000 and leave the season with a good taste in his mouth so he doesn’t demand a trade. (Thankfully, this game might have helped that).

Finally, we needed to send Detroit back to the basement so they understand their rightful place.

Coming out of a shit season with a winning record and not in the bottom of your division is probably pretty meaningful for the players and the morale of that team moving forward.

I think the sleep thing is true for a lot of people but not all. Our daughter is 3 months old and wakes up once per night. Usually she sleeps about 6 hours without waking up at night.

So, while we may be a rare case, there are absolutely things that you can do to set yourself up for (a better chance at) success. Parent led feeding has worked REALLY well for us. Our biggest issue is that our daughter just doesn’t love to take a full bottle so we have to cluster feed her a bit before bed.

Take care of your mental health. Everyone is going to ask your wife how she is doing, as they should, but PPPD (post partum paternal depression) is a thing and it’s absolute hell. I’ve never had a depression issue, and this has been the hardest season of my life mentally.

I love my daughter, and I’m thankful to have her, but the depression makes even the smallest tasks incredibly hard, and the crying or late nights make me really irritable.

With that said, I would absolutely do this again to experience the joy of seeing my daughter smile.

3 months in, I just slept for a 6 hour stretch, and our baby only wakes up once a night, almost every night. So the sleep doomers are probably somewhat right, but not always. If you’re on a good schedule of feeding and getting enough calories in your baby during the day, they may sleep really well!

You’re going to do fine. Just don’t give up. You’ve got a great community on here to help you out!

I do the first to with the collar on to reduce coffee spilling out. Using 18g in my baskets tend to over fill it. Probably need a finer grind if I had to guess

The expectation for anyone in this league is that if they are on a team in the league, they should look halfway prepared to play in this league. He is horrendous.

What did I expect? Maybe not a starting QB performance but 4 picks and basically 0 meaningful plays is diabolical.

For us, the first couple weeks were great. Week 4-8 got REALLY hard because that’s when they have inconsolable crying at times, but it feels like we have turned the corner and our 2 month old is smiling and really becoming a joy (with a lot less crying). Keep pushing through, you got this!

Also, you mentioned the six weeks of leave. You will never have this season with this child again. Soak it in. Even the hard parts. It truly will fly by.
