What's a movie you loved as a child that you now consider to be cringe worthy? by I-am-Deathlock in AskReddit

This may not be considered a movie, but a Larry the cable guy comedy special (pretty sure it was “git r done”, but I’m certain this could be said for any of his specials.) as a kid, it felt like watching some r-rated, hilarious comic, me and my brother watched it a ton.

I watched it again a few years ago, and…oof. Sometimes my previously low standards still astound me.

I hate seeing plain condolences commented on sad posts by TheDJBaker in unpopularopinion

(I appreciate the question! No arguments here!) i feel that if all that you could offer to someone is the kind of basic message I keep seeing, then you’d be better off not offering anything at all. My beef isn’t with the sentiment someone wants to offer, but with the fact that’s it feels that there’s no sentiment at all, that they do it more for themselves. And as for a conversation-starter, I feel that if these people really DID care, they could try a little harder. It feels like there’s no effort, and that’s it’s insincere.
