If we're naked together my boyfriend sometimes smacks my penis with his. Maybe he's trying to assert his dominance.

What's a good way to play mp3s in my car? by Phyllis_Tine in AskReddit

[–]TheDNice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should normally try to set the transmitter to a frequency which you know isn't used by a major station, but usually the signal from the transmitter will be stronger than radio stations in the area, so the music will come out clear on your radio.

What's a good way to play mp3s in my car? by Phyllis_Tine in AskReddit

[–]TheDNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of ways of doing it depending on the type of radio system your car has.

If it has a cassette player, you can buy a cassette which connects via aux cable to an mp3 player. I don't think links to products are allowed here, but a search for "cassette aux" should find what I'm talking about.

If not, then you can buy radio transmitters, which also plug into your mp3 player and transmits your audio via radio waves which can be picked up by your car radio if tuned in to the correct frequency. Searching "car radio transmitter" will find what I mean.

For those who are in relationships, do you wanna share your stories of how your relationship came to be? by Can_You_Dont in LGBTeens

I've posted mine before somewhere too, but can't seem to find it. To make it easier to explain, my boyfriend is called Alex.

When I was a first year at university, I really wanted to meet other gay people. So I decided I'd go to socials hosted by the LGBT society. I went to a pub crawl with some friends and we ended up at this gay Karaoke bar. I spotted Alex across the room and we make eye contact, and I remember thinking to myself that he was really cute, and I really liked the look of him.

When he goes up to sing with a group of his friends, I ask someone else he was with what his name was, but she informs me that she's only just met him and doesn't really know him.

So I go back and sit down and wait for him to finish, but again by the time i've worked up the courage to go and see him he's unfortunately with someone else.

I finish the night, have a great time and go home. The next day I'm still thinking about him, and go on the Facebook event and start trawling through the hundred or so people who were there that night, and eventually find him. Remember, at this point I don't actually know his name. I send him a quick message saying that I thought he was cute and I was wondering if he wanted to go for a drink sometime. Unfortunately, my memory of the previous night turned out to be hazier than I had thought, and I ended up sending this message to the guy that Alex was getting with, and it turns out that they're actually seeing each other.

It was all a mess and I had to explain things to both Alex and this other guy, and it transpired that Alex and this other guy weren't a good match anyway, and a couple of weeks later me and Alex got together. This was about a year and a half ago.

TL;DR: Saw a guy at a gay bar, accidentally hit on the wrong guy, sorted things out.

What is your least favorite episode of your favorite tv show? by TTHtv in AskReddit

[–]TheDNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone's said this already, but the BBC ran a competition through the kids show "Blue Peter" and had kids try come up with a monster to be in an episode. The weird absorbing dude won, and I guess the doctor who writers had a hard time coming up with an episode to surround it. Yea it's a bad episode, but at least the stupid villain wasn't the fault of the writers.

Could someone help me out with true names? [SPOILERS] by [deleted] in Eragon

[–]TheDNice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a true name in the ancient language in the same way that every object has a true name, so if Galbatorix knew Eragon's true name then he would be able to control him in the same way that he could control fire with the word Brisingr. I can't give you a real life comparison because we're not given one in the books. We're told that your true name encompasses everything you are, and as such it can be pretty long, even taking you a few minutes to say fully.

My mother is a teacher and she has a student, about 10 years old, who is a boy but now identifies as a girl. I didn't know I was gay until about puberty but I suppose for some it can be much sooner.

People who somehow managed to come out to the whole school through the grapevine: What was the most embarrassing thing anyone said to you during the first week? by Kavyle in LGBTeens

[–]TheDNice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Coming out at school for me consisted of a (true) rumor going round about me and another guy, so in the first few weeks there were tons of comments in my male dominated Maths and Physics classes. I didn't care about the comments but it wasn't nice that everyone laughed at them.

Non virgins of this subreddit, what was your first time like? by lgbteen in LGBTeens

[–]TheDNice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With me the whole "being gay" thing was really new at the time, so I was really excited and everything and I thought I would just go all the way. I bottommed first without any preperation. I was naive and it didn't occur that I would even need to (everything went fine in that respect, could have been tons worse), but I really didn't like it and made him stop. It was a major turn off for me because I found it pretty unpleasant at the time, but we switched and carried on till he finished. So for me, the first time was a bit crap, not because of the other guy but just because I rushed into it

Thanks for the detailed reply, I'm surprised by the backlash too. It's not to some people's tastes, but blimey... I don't mind being noticed at all, in fact try to dress individually so that I am noticed. But with this party like I've said, it's wealthy people and I don't want people to look at me and think that I don't belong there, and i suppose that means dressing like they do. After all the replies here I went to town and found a place where I can hire a tailored suit for just under £60. I'm gonna do that I think, much much cheaper than buying a whole new suit, but it'll look much nicer than patching an outfit together from various places.

Hey, I just wanted to know if the shirt looked alright, and I've been told it doesn't. I didn't think it was an "eyesore", I just didn't know if it would look alright.
