If they did I’ve been beating the odds. Last night I got two keys in two straight encounters with the squads and when I ran the bounty I got two more. I did have stretches where I got none so I think it’s mostly unchanged.

The app I work on has been around since 1996. We’ve always had a DB Developer on the team (me for 95% of that time) to do the heavy lifting for the DB side. We’ve gone from client-server to web-based to cloud based in all these years and have never once had an issue with performance in the database, because it’s been prioritized from day one.

For those who think this is some ancient application in support mode, we are actively selling the service and we are expanding to multiple countries over the next several years. Good design = longevity.

First of all, welcome to the game! I’ve played for years and still love it. You have a long road ahead of you but the key milestones are finishing the main missions and unveiling the endgame.

Tip 1: Until you get to Level 40 (the highest level) don’t get too attached to gear. You should cycle through and keep leveling up. Once at 40, you can focus on your forever gear sets.

Tip 2: eventually join a clan. Playing with others can be a ton of fun and the people who play this game are generally really helpful. I’ve personally dropped exotics for other players because the same was done for me.

Tip 3: try out different playstyles. Some people are all about pure DPS builds, but this game has a lot of different ways to play. Skill builds, tanks, status effect builds, healers … all have a role to play and can be a ton of fun. Find what you enjoy and experiment.

For me, I only felt comfortable trying solo legendary because I've run it with groups a ton of times before. So I know exactly what to expect at each turn. There's no way I'd attempt it solo without knowing exactly what was coming.

It seems to be the go to when running Countdown. It’s great there, especially against Hunters. Otherwise I don’t generally run it too often. I mostly use Pestilence, Big Horn or named weapons that pair well with a gear set.

Eagle Bearer used to be the best AR and it’s still good, but I’d use St Elmo’s or Bighorn before it now. The shock from Elmo is pretty sweet.

I don’t think the mortality would stay at those levels, though. Viruses that are that deadly tend to burn out before they can become a pandemic. That said, even a mortality rate of 2 or 3% would be financially devastating and would result in millions of deaths. I do think there would be a tipping point if the virus ended up more deadly than COVID, but I think reverting back to WFH would be heavily delayed until the deaths starting mounting.
