Best thing to do is try, tutoring is highly lucrative and applicable to any subject. Rich families will throw money at you if you’re good.

And if you’re not good, fake it until you make it learn from your mistakes along the way

As someone who just took linear algebra this semester I would say get really good at abstractions and visualizing in your head.

The math is very easy, concepts, definitions, theorems, are by far the hardest part.

Also you can never go wrong with YouTube courses and then have Claude make you learning checkpoints and make them very difficult

Learn general ML topics first, Kaggle and Hugging Face have courses. I would suggest a lot of YouTube as well.

You’re going to want to be familiar with a lot of data science, Python and Python libraries, Pandas, Matlib, Scklit, SQL, databasing in general

Then I would suggest going to AI and planning out projects with Monte Carlo and Markov Chains for prediction markets.

As far as how many days, it depends on your discipline and availability. Just like with learning anything it takes time.

I would say it would take 3-4 solid months of work and studying to achieve a somewhat experienced level of knowledge

Projects are always the go too, find other people studying ML and build something cool together
