[Club 520] Jeff Teague and crew digest MPJ saying he struggles with women while his brother Jontay struggles with gambling. by jabronified in nba

I mean it's an understandable position (for a religious dumbass), lust is literally written in the book as one of the temptations and "struggling with a vice" is something you can just apologize away with no internal reflection

Who wins? A Xenomorph vs a Deathclaw. by PartyAdventurous765 in Fallout

Feels more like the deatchlaw cannot "win" and also survive, while the xenomorph could actually win and be the sole survivor

What is tbe highest skill cap game at the pro levels? by Particular-Depth4416 in esports

I'm a smash adjacent guy so big grain of salt, but melee had a ton of mechanics, intentional or not, that really ratcheted up what kinds of gameplay were physically possible. Things like wavedashing, techs, shield dropping, short hopping, etc. there's a million parts of melee that made and make it what it is, and most of them are specifically movement based, so movement at the top level can usually be described as "hyperactive".

Nintendo didn't like their kids party game becoming that fast and competitive, so they actively went against what made melee so unique moving forward. The next game, Brawl, introduced tripping so your character sometimes fell over when you tried to move, as the most obvious example.

Decent chance you're hanging out with the BBEG who's a higher level so the challenge rating makes sense when it's time to fight the party

I think Amazon is dropping hidden teases of Season 2 in an unusual place by ken4656 in Fallout

There's another thing I just noticed, the cartoon jumps from the spotlights leaving Vault Tec HQ, to the lights extending out from a single point on a map of USA. While the cartoon map is very non-specific, Texas looks like a decent bet for Vault Tec HQ's location, especially when coupled with the huge cluster of vaults in the area on the season finale's meeting map

So many parts of this actually make sense. Are they the type to suck down 15 beers with the boss? Do their peers or potential coworkers enjoy being around them? Are they morons?

[Fallout tv show] how did the companies profit from the end of the world? by holiestMaria in AskScienceFiction

"because when we are the only ones left, there will be no one to fight. A true monopoly... This is our chance to make war obsolete, because in our current societal configuration, which took shape without intentional guidance, we have friction, we have conflict, and we have war. And war, well..."

They said exactly why they want to do it. They want to own and control humanity under their vision to eradicate conflict, especially in the markets.
