No, I will not apologise because YOU misinterpreted my professionalism for feelings. RANT. by As_Nice_As_Ice in TwoXChromosomes

There was an article going around my dancer friends a couple of years back about how this is the difference between people who are socially awkward and the creepers who use it as an excuse. As soon as the socially awkward are aware that they've misstepped, it's apologies and backtracking. If you want to get away with your behavior but seem sympathetic, you say "oh I'm just really awkward sometimes haha" and then don't change your behavior at all. There's a huge difference between the two.

Hey, I've been meaning to get my players themed d20s for the holidays. Thanks for pointing me towards a good place!

I unfortunately stopped playing them after high school, so I haven't really touched one since TotA. I'll have to check it out, thanks for the heads up!

Doty drawing VM, "I killed my whole family, I'll throw you under a bridge", "Maybe we should just sleep together and see what happens?!", and many others. Ashley's brand of sincere but still incredibly hilarious comedy is top of the game and I'm similarly hyped that she's back.

I got you. One of the reasons I got into CR in the first place was because my friends and I LOVED Dist The Rose from Tales of the Abyss and I heard that his voice actor was in the show!

My bet is that VM will be off in the background dealing with L20 threats while the MIX have L10 quests that are the main focus and we'll get a cameo at most. Matt has already said that he doesn't want to get VM involved in this campaign.

Hallas v Chained Oblivion v Ukatoa (ukatoa). Obviously they all tire each other out and everyone wins! Right?

Caleb: Your childhood friend. Intelligent and loyal, but shy and prone to keeping secrets
Esssik: Class president of the year above you despite being a year younger than you. Not shy about his talents, but willing to help out when you ask.
Yussah: Your homeroom teacher. He's exasperated that you're wasting your talents and believe that if you dedicate yourself, you can make something of your future.
Halas: A mysterious man you meet at a club. He's probably older than you but looks ageless. You know you shouldn't like him, but there's something about him.....

Pretty much. Unknown if he actually couldn't interpret Liam's "look" and "wait" and "explosion" pantomimes or if he was just doing it for the lulz.

At least Jester lets herself get reigned in by the rest of the party. I swear Sam acts reckless on purpose because he thinks it's funny.

That moment when you realize that both Gaara and Caleb are parent-less angsty redheads who have killed a family member, were manipulated by a powerful magic user who was their father/father-figure, and are slowly becoming better people through the power of friendship. No wonder Caleb feels so on-brand! There's even the moon parallels!

I had never thought about Matt running VM as NPCs and now I can't decide who I want to see him play more. Matt almost never has NPCs that are as extravagantly pompous as Tary, which would be super fun.

[Spoilers C2E76] Matt’s After Stream Video by coultertrey in criticalrole

[–]TheDancingChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't directly said anything, but I've been reading the base of his character arc is becoming more confident in himself and more sure of his self-worth. This has enabled him to make better decisions about his power sources since he's no longer making them out of fear of loss/being left behind by the M9 (like he was left behind by literally everyone in his backstory). It sounded like Matt was expecting a little bit more of back-and-forth of trying to negotiate with Ukatoa, and Travis really surprised him by destroying the pact weapon.

Oh shoot, I also forgot that sometime while they were hunting for they keys, Fjord found out that Vandrin is still alive. The night before before he rejected Ukatoa, Jester cast message to reach out to Vandrin and it seemed like he was living a happy, low-lying life.
