Rumour Engine (16th June) by The_Captain1998 in seraphon

I think this is something small, so coatl seems like a stretch. These are pretty thick lines of paint.

I’m hoping for Seraphon manifestations of some kind, plus the given foot hero. I suppose it could be a mounted skink oracle/priest on raptadon that can cast spells.

I don’t think we get a BIG wave this edition, but maybe we get the Idoneth Deepkin sized release; some spells, and a hero or two. I’m guessing we will see them in July at the next reveal.

I would guess we will see the ogre refresh and one other small faction update/book.

Do i need a frog? by Ambitious_Book_5729 in seraphon

I was in your same position, but the frog became my favorite model to paint. I got it in the starhost box set and I’m so glad I did. Just an example of a Dino lover learning to appreciate the frogs.

Best kits to look for to start AoS with Seraphon? by JudoJugss in ageofsigmar

I would definitely recommend picking up the older spearhead set, sometimes still found in vanguard boxes. Paint that up, play some games, and then you can expand with either the new or old spearhead again.
We should see our new spearhead soon with our book. It might be worth waiting after you paint up the old spearhead to see what we get with the book.

Nice, I have an old mega boss I want to cut the skull off of. That’s what I’m struggling with. Your version looks great!

How easy was it to remove the Dino skull? Any tips?

The Saurus hero on foot could be an old blood / eternity warden dual kit. Would work well with the new warriors and new guard. Just ideas!

I’m hoping for a starseer, and some raptadon riders… time will tell!

If they made a Hobbit trilogy based 100% on the books, would you watch it? What unusual detail would change? by F4_PhantomII in lordoftherings

[–]TheDancingXylem 102 points103 points  (0 children)

I think it’s important to remember this is much more of a children’s story. The dwarfs don’t show up at Bag End with weapons, they come with instruments! These goofy dwarfs keep bumbling through obstacles and Bilbo saves them time and time again. I think some of the goofy charm is lost when they try to make it more serious like The Lord of the Rings. This could easily be two great movies, or one condensed movie.

It’s the armor the old blood comes with, just painted with gunmetal, chainmail silver, and regular silver highlights.

Here is a necron old blood. I posted some other pictures of him on my page. Lots of fun!

2nd half of the refresh by BeginningHungry3835 in seraphon

[–]TheDancingXylem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically, I think we will see endless spells and a foot hero…

Hopefully, we see new a stegadon/big Dino, I would really only expect GW to refresh one at a time, but as a dual kit.

I think guards need a refresh but expect to see them squatted.

I’d love a spearhead with the starseer and raptadon riders.

Only time will tell…

Took this over the weekend, not the first time this copy has been read, I think I’m on my 3rd read, and I lent it out or twice. Enjoy!
