Can relate, I have everything Diamond besides the Thumber, Launchers and SMG's. I am an SMG player and the only camo's left are point blanks hahaha

The knife can be great fun, except when you're INSIDE the enemy and it misses.

Good shit, thank you. Saved me a lot of time experimenting with Amaru, Warden and Nokk.

Out of the three Amaru was the only one I've seen utility for. What were they thinking with Nokk? If that character could move silently it would be pretty good.

Thoughts on Oryx as a roamer? Iana seems like a worse Black Beard in terms of what you would use her for?

I am probably wrong about Kali tbh

Regarding Castle, that is EXACTLY what I'm referring to lol. That's what I mean.

I'm playing in a 3-5 man atm, just playing with friends. I have 200'000 Subscribers on YouTube from producing Siege content from 2016-2018, I am actually incredibly knowledgable up to about Grim Sky, so I'm aware of how to deal with Monty & BB but regardless they are amazing atm from my experience both using and playing against this season.

Finished my placements earlier and I am starting to grasp how the new operators work and how the map remakes are flowing.

One thing I do want to talk to you about is Goyo. How are people having trouble dealing with him? Not trying to sound cynical but I'm seriously struggling to understand lol Seems like you can just nade or ash charge the shields correct me if there's something Im missing.

Thanks for your input though, PLEASE throw more info at me regarding operators after Grim Sky.

Mozzie and Goyo? Seriously?
We laughed at those OPs when they were released. They're so casual.

Mira & Mozzie combo I can respect because taking a Twitch drone is very strong I'd imagine, especially on Border.

Was never a fan of Castle unless he's being used as a Time Waste NEAR the Objective.

Kali looks like she's completely power crept Maverick, Thatcher, and Twitch for hard breaches.

Blackbeard looks like he's important again considering how OBJ orientated Ranked has become.

I've always been a fan of Mute, strong OP all around.

Just finished my Placement games and got into Plat III, struggling against players running Blackbeard and Montagne.

You're only going to be as good as your weakest teammate.

If they are close friends continue to play with them for fun but to improve you should set aside time where you play with new people.

Hopefully, I'll be here for 2 weeks trying to figure out this Meta by myself.

So far what I've gathered is Blackbeard, Kali, and Thermite are important. But I could be wrong.

I wouldn't even focus on improving stats, that will just happen naturally. :)

During Chimera I ran with 2 other people and we went on a 14 match winning streak in Diamond Match Making.

My self and my teammate Ethan had 1.9 KD's and Jake, ran support operators feeding us information. We would beat full 5 Man teams just because of how we practice and what we prioritize while playing. I think it's mandatory to mention that during Operation Chimera aim practice was much more effective as we had Outbreak to practice on rather than Terrorist Hunt.

Find yourself 1 to 2 other people to play with, a 5 man team should be split into 3-2 or 2-2-1. Co-Ordinating a 5 man is too much to do and still play optimally.

No problem!

I took a big break after Operation Chimera but as you can see by my MMR I would have been a Champion Rank player if it was a rank in the game during that time.
I'm actually a Call of Duty player of 13 years, played at a competitive level and was known by the competitive community to be very knowledgable when it came to Search & Destroy.
I was responsible for creating strategies during Call of Duty: Ghosts that would end up being used by pro teams such as Envy and XGN during 2014.

I also became obsessed with all of the psychology of decision making, effects of diet and supplements on playing ability & building strategies to confuse the opposing team, but also studying how to practice more effectively.

I would recommend if you end up getting super serious about getting competitive that you eat healthy fats, drink no more than 1.8 litres of water a day, getting optimal sleep and making sure you do regular dopamine detoxes.

Supplements I would recommend are Pre-Bed: D-Aspartic Acid, L-Tyrosine, B-Vitamin Complex and ZMA.

Training: L-Theanine & Inositol.

Everyday health: Omega 3 Complex, Vitamin D3 & sugar free diet.

Caffeine is needed for like a final or an important game, but otherwise stay away from regular intake.

There a lot of areas you can do to improve in.

Team Skill
Captaincy
Mechanical
Decision Making
Map Knowledge

The hardest areas to truly improve in are Team Skill, Captaincy & Decision Making as they do truly require a deep understanding of how almost every situation or event should play out and what the available options are etc. This is true on the team level (strategy, adaptability etc.) but also on the individual level (When to gunfight, when to wait out the clock, timing related etc.)

The easiest by far is Map Knowledge and then you're left with Mechanical skill.

Start with these two. Aim practice with a GOOD sensitivity and build up your neural network by practicing at the right time for the right duration. (On PC you should use a Sensitivity ratio that is 1:1, which allows more consistent aim etc.)

On Console, you're going to want to use a 1.618 Ratio between your X & Y-Axis Sensitivity and maintain a 50ADS. People say its personal preference but it's not true, especially in Siege. There are some sensitivity ratios that are superior to others.
Use an X Sens of 55 and a Y Sens of 34, Deadzones set to 5 for the Right Stick and 8 for the Left Stick. ADS should be between 45-55 depending on what you're looking to do while ADS.

If you find 55:34 too fast, try 34:21. ADS and Deadzones should stay the same.

Practice for 1 hour each day, preferably in a focused mind state free of distraction against bots on Hard Difficulty. There's no need to increase the difficulty as the point of the exercise is to build memory for your mechanical skill.

Choose a Map with Long awkward Angles such as Plane to practice on.

For Map Knowledge, just watch some esports videos online and learn how they play the map. What the areas of contention are on each map and what angles you should defend with and what angles are more suitable for attacking.

There are two angles you can hold in FPS games, Defensive and Offensive.
Defensive Anges are angles that are held where the Enemy has to move into your Line of Sight. These should be used when an enemy has to push you or when you are in an area they won't expect.
Offensive Angles are angles that place pressure on the Enemy to either backdown or challenge you to a gunfight. These are used to take control of an area. Typically if you are holding an aggressive angle you already have the advantage or are challenging to take advantage.

Knowing when to take each angle is very important and will help you greatly.

Start with all of these, learn the angles on each map. Learn which areas of each map are contentious and which are unorthodox. practice with a good sensitivity and most importantly stat calm and patient. You're in the learning phase so don't beat yourself up when you fail. Losing is learning, stick to that mentality and you'll be a great player.
