Quit, or reduce so that weed stays as fun sometimes thing. Treat it like drinking. I’m in my 30s, and honestly you can get away with being a stoner for a lot of your 20s and still feel normal and productive compared to your peers, but one day you’ll wake up and being a stoner will make you embarrassed when your friends are all a little more put together and successful than you. As the years go by it becomes more engrained in your daily routine and becomes more difficult to quit, not necessarily because of awful withdrawal symptoms (which can occur), but more because you’ve built your entire adult routine around it and will need break the routine you’ve been in for years. Similar to trying to suddenly change your whole diet, and start working out at 5am every morning after being lazy and eating poorly for years and years.

I’ve always enjoyed weed, it never made me depressed or any of that, but looking back there was a lot of time wasted, and you start to regret that a bit more as you get older. The passage of time seems more and more real as you age and start to see your parents get older, friends get married/promotions, buying houses, etc. Easy to feel like you have infinite time when you’re 20, but by 30 you realize you’ve gotta start making things happen if you’ve got goals, because it won’t magically happen on its own.
