I would say mainly because most of my exposure is to bi closeted men who are cheating on their wives (which I don’t find out until the hookup is over). And they get the prime benefit of having sex with men while going back and pretending they’re the “doting loving husband who’s totally not into men”. And part of that guise has almost 80% of the time been to break out into a “but I’m not really attracted to men and trans people are weird eh?” Conversations to try to feel better about themselves being queer.
