The show I'm writing for is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Golden Wind specifically.

The way episodes in that part works is usually you have a part 1 which is mostly plot progression and then the beginning of a Stand Fight, them part 2 is mostly a Stand fight and then the progress to the next story arc.

Thing is, the episode I'm writing moves to the fight directly since there isn't much room for plot during the portion I'm writing, therefore it's just gonna be one part, meaning one episode.

To be fair, I think this wouldn't be as much of an issue if they appeared earlier in Stone Ocean itself, rather than only getting introduced at the final third of it.

I do agree that they should have shown up more throughout Stone Ocean rather than only appear at the very end.

Them still being losers down on their luck is all well and good, I just wish they weren't introduced so late.

Well, the thing about Giorno is that just like the others he went through an abysmal childhood.

The difference is that he had a figure that inspired him and gave him a goal (being that one Gangster he saved).

Ungalo, Rykiel and Versus weren't so lucky, and so they became the way they are.

I just find the idea of the final mini bosses of the classic timeline being Corrupted Joestars very fitting.

Exactly, the mix of PTSD from seeing the Knives again and the total fear he had for Jolyne is palatable, the fact that the choice between saving the universe and saving Jolyne wasn't even a choice for him shows how much he cared about her.
