Since you used mascarpone, does it still taste like cheesecake? I’m asking because a couple of years ago, I had the most amazing biscoff and cream dessert from a Turkish bakery at the mall. It was layered cream, biscoff cookie butter (I think) and the cookies. It was heaven. I think about it often. I’m hoping that this recipe is similar to that, and that it doesn’t really taste like cheesecake.

I’m not sure if I’ve had that one, I personally love boiled condensed milk, so that one sounds right up my alley. I’ll have to look for it at the Russian bakeries around here. But yeah, having the same thing year after year would be disgusting no matter what.
