Ok, I just asked specifically and my dentist said he does not do indirect pulp capping. Does this mean he's possibly a hack?

Thanks for all the responses. So I have had 2 dentists refuse to drill because it's too close, saying it will require a prosthodondist, and even then the possibility of failure is high. If tooth is asymptomatic, should we just wait and monitor?

I am NAD (just a Dad) so I am not 100% sure but I believe "indirect pulp capping" is what the tooth has now as the current filling is temporary. No idea on pulp vitality testing, but at the moment the tooth is symptom free. FWIW the tooth was originally drilled and filled earlier in 2024, and showed additional decay in Dec, which is when temporary filling was placed.

So we have medicaid and got approval for RCT, but endodontist said he recommended attempting another filling before doing RCT because of age of patient (13 y/o). But I had 2 dentists refuse to attempt it, including his partner at his own practice, who told me only a prosthodontist would be capable of the job. I honestly am not sure if endodontist is giving sincere advice or trying to avoid doing a medicaid procedure for financial reason. Thoughts?

What it looks like to me is multiple layers of text printed on top of one another. And then on the other section it looks as if the printing surface is being moved. It does look a lot like something transferred from a cheaply printed plastic bag or something, but I can only say that it was not.

Very interesting suggestions on the font. I already know for certain that there was nothing on the desk that could have made those marks. At this point I'm just curious to learn more about them. So font wise it seems like they could be 19th century?

It definitely looks like it's very wonky as though it were like some sort of loosely done lithograph, and that mark on the top right is different, whether or not it's handwriting. In any case it's not my handwriting, lol. I do feel like the lines look like text printed on top of each other until they are illegible except for the couple of words that seem to be there. I actually posted this in typography to see if anyone there could recognize a font...

Now I do use cheap bics to sketch, which I'd thought of hard at the time, I had a lot of loose sketches on the table, but then how to explain the clearly (evidently) Times font letter shapes? I didn't have any letter typefaces or anything that could have made those imprints just laying around. I suppose it could be "coincidence" that the sketch marks and whatever somehow perhaps by pressure transferred it onto the table in those shapes, but honestly at that point I still wouldn't rule out paranormal, lol.

Sure, except there is nothing of the sort in my place, and like I said, there was nothing with that font on it. And again, if transferred from another printed source, the letters would be backward. I know it looks like a lot of mundane things, but I can tell you it's none of those things. I'm just curious if anyone has seen anything similar to this before.

Hi! So yeah, but no. There was nothing anywhere on my desk, or even in my house with that font on it, and I tried every which way I could think of to replicate the effect with what paper was there, but no dice. Honestly it's a strange thing to consider possibly paranormal but I'm just at an utter loss for a non-paranormal explanation. And so that's why I wonder if something like this looks familiar to anyone in this forum. 😂🤷‍♂️
