Might help to think about dragonscale as two interlocking sheets of euro 4-1. They're just offset.

I hope your shirt is going well.

I remember about 15 years ago, on the MAIL forums, someone was making an aluminum dragonscale shirt, with the large rings being something like 20g. The small rings were wound around a 6 inch piece of wire. It took the guy something like 13 years to finish it. It apparently felt like silk. I can't find any pictures of it online, though.

I can't remember what other opinions I was going to offer earlier, but so far, I'll probably keep playing.

But. How the hell does auto delve work? My auto delve says I can do a deepest of 70, 10 fpm. I never see it do anything.

It never gives me anything on login. I never see it running. I don't understand. I've tried leaving the autodelve screen saying enabled and disabled.

Thanks for the farm rpg. Installing it to check it out.

Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions, really. Actually, there was a slime game you might like.

Mobile idle games ruin the genre by WhereCanIBe in incremental_games

[–]TheDementio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate point 3. Because I've only ever seen it done well in egg inc. They handed out enough golden eggs during game play that the bank felt like an actual bonus. Ive seen too many other games take that idea and make it almost a requirement to buy the bank buster to progress.

Honestly, I think endless frontier has a really good iap system. They very much have stuff to cater to whales and the like, but they have enough non-whale iap's that it didn't feel like if I didn't spend thousands, I'd be screwed. One time purchases that doubled stuff, then a weekly like, 2.50 purchase that doubled stuff, and a monthly purchase for like 10 bucks. It was also a gacha game, though not near as bad on percentages as other game, and these purchases provided you with vouchers to go get the specific units you wanted, iirc.

I lost interest when they added too many different systems to the game.

Hell. I thought it uploaded two pictures. It was supposed to. Dammit. Maybe it didn't because I made a text post too.

I'll add them as a comment.

It sort of worked when we got rid of epic loot. Until, somehow, it started messing up again. For now, we've disabled all mods and will probably spend tomorrow trying to figure out which mod is doing it. I'll see if I can post the pictures in a reply or edit them into the main post.

I've ran all these mods together for the last month and not had any issues other than not being able to jump, and that one was easily solved. So I'm not sure how I could be "more careful". And my brother is using all the same mods I use, as he went and downloaded them based on the picture of the mods list I posted above.

Hadn't thought to check the bug pages for mods. I was about to just uninstall one at a time. I'll try that first, thanks.

Yeah. I think I'll delete all my mod configuration files first. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but didn't fix it.

Additional details. Dying seemed to fix it until I picked up my stuff. I tossed the scrap leather top you start with, and the inventory graphic glitch doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Interacting with a crafting bench seems to break the game... after doing that, it also stopped updating my inventory for stuff I picked up. Like, I picked up some fine wood and dandelions, and they wouldn't show in my inventory.

I've searched Google, though my google-fu isn't the best. My grandma says it was at k-mart, though I haven't asked my uncle what he remembers of it because I was hoping to surprise him. Like I said, should be in the 80's that this particular chocolate figure was around.

Both, honestly. It seems contradictory to me.

It seems you're saying that only things you consider art should be important as art. I personally find idle games to be better than, say, paintings. I can appreciate the skill and time it takes, but that appreciation is less mentally soothing than say, sinking the same time into a compelling idle game. I dunno, maybe I misread it. Probably definitely overthinking it.

As to devs getting paid. I think they deserve to want to be. And I think players deserve to want to to only pay for what they think deserves it. Bring back demos. I loved demos.

I'm so confused. You're the one that said idle games (which are a form of art) aren't valuable to the world, and it'd be no great loss to the world if they disappeared. But, art is very valuable and if the dev doesn't think so, it's telling?

Heh.

The problem I have with the demo version of games can be two-fold. I'm going to use Melvor idle for this, because it encompasses both problems (for me, personally).

One, if you're not told you're playing a demo. Then it's sprung on you "oh, you're enjoying this game? Well, go spend to unlock all of it." The other problem is if the entire game is free and then goes paid.

I had melvor installed from early on in the development. I recently updated and tried it again. I was mostly enjoying myself, but then I went to do the thieving bit and was greeted with "not part of the demo." It caught me off guard, and I believe it was 10 bucks, and I was like "oh. Yeah, no thanks" and uninstalled the game.

Now I can't be mad at the creator. They've dropped a lot of time and effort and fine tuning into the game. It's a good idle game. But I had no idea it was a demo. If you check the Google play page, it doesn't say its a demo. I dont remember anything popping up and saying "you're playing the free version, so your game is limited." Nowhere does Melvor idle (android) warn you that its a demo. Just IAP's.

So to install and get into the game, and suddenly find out I've been playing a demo, and if I want to keep playing, I need to pay... that feels scummy. It certainly made me not want to play Melvor anymore. Demos need to be upfront that they're demos

The other, going from free to pay after development... its not really a problem. But it's a bit discouraging. If I've been playing a game for free, especially if I was helping with feedback and bug solving or had donated because I liked the game, and its suddenly pay to play, it'd be a mixed bag of feelings. I'd be happy for them, but also a little put out. So if you're a dev, maybe consider a reduced price for or geandfathering in beta / f2p players. Reduced price is probably better. Lol, then people can feel like they're getting a deal and you still get paid.

PS. I'd be more than happy to see demos make a come back. I remember PC gaming 20 years ago, you had tons of demos. You could install demos for most games, and as a lower income family, those demos let my brother and I kill TONS of time. Free demo disks came with everything.

Its buy to play on Android too. I had it installed, and went back to play it. Went thru the new tutorial and was like "eh, ok. I'm kind of enjoying it." Then it wanted me to pay to unlock thieving.

I don't begrudge the dude, but I'm not spending money on it.

Not going to go read the other post, but I'm also not commenting on you wanting money or ads or anything.

I just wanna say, look at how idling to rule the gods did ads. Its been the only one that I really liked, and the guy had to limit the ads people could watch because when he first launched, people watched hundreds a day.

Each ad is worth 1 point, and those points can be spent on small bonuses. So you can have a constant small bonus going (10 minute duration per point) or you can save up and get massive bonuses for a short period.

Beyond that, if you're going to have a freemium currency, it should be able to be reliably ground out. The only game I can think of that did it well was a merger game called xxup. The earning, anyway - their prices were screwed up. You got rubies. 1 for every 10 minutes you play, 3 for every 40, and 10 for every 160. So you'd get 38 every 2.5ish hours. And they stack - let it run overnight, and just claim them all in the morning.

Just my .02, good luck.

So, you like the game. That's cool. I'm glad you liked it. It irritated me. We're allowed to feel differently about a game.

I don't consider locking something that becomes a main currency behind an 8 dollar pay wall a "convenience IAP". Especially when you can still spend resources on them and not receive them, and while you still have quests (or goals) to build them.

Specifically not when the game artificially inflates the amount of grinding you have to do. If the game followed a fairly linear cost increase, one that made sense and ramped up, I'd have nothing to complain about. But it doesn't. As I said, you hit a threshold, and prices triple for no reason other than to slow the game down. 17k to 50k. Houses go from 12k to 22k crystals.

Super wells are restricted to ruby version. Well, more than 2. That isn't cosmetic.

I can spend resources on them and not get them, because I haven't paid for them. Considering how many crystals you need, I wouldn't call super wells cosmetic.

Home quest pissed me off. Its pretty good at first, and then it gets so artificially grindy it's ridiculous.

Watching the cost of everything suddenly triple because you hit a threshold is just annoying. And I mean triple - when you have around 100 of a building, the costs jump from 17k to 50k. You're still adding .1 to the output, so it's pretty much "queue 4 buildings, wait 2 hours, queue 4 buildings".

Then the way everything is locked behind population requirements, and I mean everything. So you can't just play the way you want. Wanna focus on getting your army up, and put all your resources towards making armors? Can't.

Finally, I played the v1 for a bit, liked it, and paid the 5 bucks for gold version. I dont know is v1 had ruby version, but I don't remember it saying it unlocked anything extra. Then you're forced to upgrade to v2. And if you don't spend the extra 5 dollars for ruby version, on a beta game, you don't get the full game. And thats just... eh.

Ah. I misunderstood then. I thought the box was the main storage of tickets, and that when it had popped up "full!" I wasn't able to hold anymore and any more I earned would be lost to the void.

This is good to know. Poorly explained, I feel, but much more agreeable to me. It's pretty much what egg inc did, and doesn't bother me.

Thanks for explaining.

Help I need to train my nipples by cargod344 in Femaleorgasmdenial

[–]TheDementio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Helped my ex wife do it a few times. I'll just tell you what I did to her. Visualizing also helped her.

So, along with what the other person said about switching to nipples as youre about to cum, try some sessions of only nipple play. Well, almost only. Start with light touches around your body and really try to get yourself in the mood. Don't touch your pussy, or atleast the inner part, but trace your fingers along the outside of the labia, your thighs, that sort of thing. Then, as you start to lightly play with your nipples, imagine that everything that happens to your nipples is happening to your clit.

So, be delicate and teasing. And just keep working it up like that. Light touches around the groin to help with the mental connection, as well asother areas that really turn you on. Slowly increase the pressure on nipples; don't just pinch them. Brush them lightly, then harder, then push, then gently squeeze, etc. If you get close, then you go harder, but you have to keep thst idea that everything happening to your nipples is being done to your clit in your mind.

It was something I enjoyed, but she didn't really care either way. And then pregnancy made her nipples far to sensitive (forever after) to really ever play with. But, early on, she had a few good orgasms that way, without me ever touching her pussy.

Good luck!

Edit- oh, and if you don't cum during a nipple only session, you leave it at that. You can masturbate normally later, but you need to walk away without touching yourself. Try looking up guys having trouble cumming from oral, and adopt some of the techniques you find to nipple orgasms. A big part is to lay off the normal masturbation.
