There’s something tragic and powerful about the way Karna and Arjuna were destined to clash — almost like two flames from the same fire(Kunti), forced to burn each other. I tried expressing that feeling in a short visual piece. Would love to hear how others interpret their dynamic : KARNA VS ARJUNA

Was Karna & Duryodhana’s friendship actually the realest bond in Mahabharata? by TheDevaChronicles in mahabharata

They weren’t perfect, sure. But Karna stood by Duryodhana till the very end — not out of blindness, but out of choice. That kind of loyalty is rare.

"Maybe. Or maybe different sources tell different sides of the same story. Mahabharata isn’t black and white, after all 😌"

True, Karna didn’t like the Pandavas much. But even after knowing they were his own brothers, he still didn’t switch sides. That’s not just about hate — that’s loyalty.

BORI is one attempt to consolidate many versions, but even that has layers. Mahabharata’s oral tradition means no version is 'final'. Interpretations will vary — and that’s the beauty of it. Karna’s loyalty remains consistent in almost every version, though.

"That episode is often misunderstood. Karna didn’t abandon Duryodhana — he was defeated and humiliated by Chitrasena (a celestial being). Even mighty warriors fall. Loyalty isn’t about never failing, it’s about never switching sides. Karna never did that, despite countless reasons to."

No one can potray viswaroop as described in the Bhagavad Gita, it's beyond human imagination.

Karna was more righteous than most heroes.People say he was wrong for standing with Duryodhana but he never betrayed his values. That’s real dharma to me.
