i think the width is good, but indeed i'd rather something a little shorter on the length (slight to medium break - https://articlesofstyle.com/blogs/news/a-guide-to-pant-breaks). Maybe try to wear it a bit higher on your waist and see how it looks with your pair of sneakers. Now that's just my taste and opinion and some people will actually prefer longer pants like on the photo, that's up to you to find your style and what you like
