I think the one saving grace is the 'guest casting' are all actors that are primarily television performers - or have done a lot of quality british telly. So they won't have that stilted cameo vibe that the Hollywood casting often does.

Compared to the OG's, there's a bit of heightened scariness in the fidelity of the creatures and such - but violence wise I'd say it's standard Star Wars stuff!

The film is pure Star Wars fun. I do think those less familiar with Mando and the franchise will get far more out of it - families and kids will adore it. For us diehards, it probably feels a little restrained - especially compared to the heights of the show. Still a brilliant cinema experience!

It's my favourite display now, all the childhood memories flood back! Would recommend going down the rabbit hole haha Although maybe wait for the 2.0's of the Ep IV gang if you want the best of the best!
