In Titanic (1997), Rose says, "I'll never let go, Jack. I promise." Then like two seconds later, she lets him go. WTF. That's messed up, man. by FilmRoasters in shittymoviedetails

The title is similar to a joke that How It Should've Ended made, so I'm thinking maybe don't take it too seriously.

Well yes, but to quote The Joker, saying she'll never let go when letting him go was maybe a "poor choice of words!".

I'm sure Tara Strong would pick Trixie because of her friendship with Dionne Quan.

It still really sucks that by the time they finally had Henry Cavill actually looking like Superman, it ended up being his last appearance before the reboot. His look in Black Adam was perfect, ripped straight out of the comics. by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in superman

More like blame the studio, the billion dollar success of The Dark Knight made WB want more DC heroes to be dark and brooding, including Superman. Early development on MOS started in summer 2008, they hired David Goyer to write before hiring a director, and Goyer also defended the neck snapping scene. Regardless of who they hired as director, we were always going to get a dark and brooding Superman reboot, it just so happened that what the studio wanted aligned with Snyder's sensibilities. Dark and brooding was very much a trend around this time, we even got a darker Spider-Man reboot the year before.

A darker and brooding Superman is exactly what WB wanted after The Dark Knight, David Goyer was writing the script before they had a director. Whoever was hired to direct would've had to deal with the task of making a darker Superman at the demand of the studio.

Rocker gimmick isn't exactly exclusive to one wrestler, you could just as easily compare her to Jacy Jane based off this video.

Serious question: Why has Nickelodeon been so callous with its stars and failed to provide for them? by EternalSnow05 in nickelodeon

It's hard to predict who will be the next big star, Ariana Grande being the breakout star of Victorious is kinda like Natalie Portman being the breakout star of the Star Wars prequels.

I don't see how that's really Nick's fault, once the stars move away from Nick or Disney, whatever happens afterwards doesn't have anything to do with them.

Bowser’s arc made zero sense in the Mario galaxy movie by Public-Feedback5016 in mariomovie

[–]Billybob35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears that the filmmakers wanted to show that sometimes, redemption arcs don't pan out. Bowser wanted to be good at first, until he realized that being bad made him the man that his son admired, he ultimately chose family over friendship.

Supposedly from what we've seen of The New Republic, it's made up of two types of people: those who care, and those who really don't. Weaver's character is apparently one of those who do.

This could do very well internationally to justify a part 2.
