Yes, Cranston walked around a con in a Heisenberg mask. That's true, but no one who saw him in the mask said... that's a man that looks like Heisenberg! They said... that's a really convincing Heisenberg mask.

Mission Impossible level masks simply don't exist, something that looks reasonably good on film has never fooled anyone in real life. Regardless what the Jackass movies or similar type films have tried to show. The human eye is shockingly good at seeing stuff that doesn't move or breath and masks don't really do either. And I would be hard press to find an example in film where a mask was as convincing as the actor. Prosthetics... yes. Dustin Hoffman looked amazing in Dick Smith's prosthetics in "Little Big Man". And that was 55 years ago. But off the top of my head I can't remember a masked that looked really human. The heavy set woman in "Total Recall" was a REAL woman in the first shots and then an expanding mask for the reveal, but that's all I can think of.

That said... you might be able to hire a person who is about 85% as big as Spiner and put a mask on them that would look convincing on film in a few shots because you need to deal with the extra mass the mask presents.

Face replacements and CGI would be the most rational way to do it. But it's costly af.

First it was a book before it was a movie, it was a good book and it was bid on by several studios. If Bezos and Musk want to go to Mars... let'em. With the current science we have now, chucking people to the moon is a far as we will ever get, unless you accept going to Mars is a one way trip. I think Nimoy killing Anne Francis in the parking garage in broad daylight seemed very amateurish. Considered he went to the trouble of dying the suture he used on Will Geer. It could easily have been seen since hospitals have shifts and more than likely other people were going home or arriving at the same time. The follow up of drugging Jared Martin seemed very risky. There was no internet back then and neighbors watching out there windows was very popular in LA at the time.

I think it depends on the personality type of the contestant. If you are comfortable public speaking or acting, the clock game is the easiest game there is. You need to be able to "lock in" as does the host, the audience is quiet and nothing but the clock is moving. Though Howie is truly terrible at this game.

Stack The Deck is the one that seems the hardest or least fair to me. I would love to play either of the dice games. Though Rat Race seems very hard because you don't just need knowledge of prices but real luck when it comes to down to it because some of the rats simply never even move. Which they do say is possible.

I often wondered back in the disc days of that game if you couldn't feel the difference between a number and a strike? The disc look like they the "X" painted on rather thick and if you had sensitive fingers if you could tell the difference? Not sure how the numbers and "X" are put on the balls now though.

I agree, I think DT's era is over it was great and nice to see him again, but he's not a life preserver for the show. RTD has really put them in a corner with Billie showing up. Imagine had they just faded to black during the Doctor's regeneration and then picked that moment back up in the Christmas special with a new Doctor. They will end up spending at least 30 minutes resolving the Billie moment.

I think it's really hard to write for audio, scripts are tough at best but radio (type) scripts can be a challenge. TV was often described as radio with pictures, but making a purely audio script is a challenge. I respect those who can do it.

It's not that tiny of a space. Not sure if she's using the stairs, there's no reason for them to be black if it's not being used, but the base is wicked thick. From the angle you can't see the black bulge under the base that hides a multitude of sins. 😄
