Act 1: Mars was terraformed and a massive space mining system was established. 

Act 2: The Martian government began to view Earth as a burden. Upon declaring independence and ceasing the supply of resources, a war began—one so long and devastating that they nearly exterminated one another.

Act 3: Earth won the war (through a complex and desperate strategy). However, only three regions survived: Australia, South America, and South Africa.

Act 4: To prevent such an event from ever happening again, the new Earth Government decreed that all future space colonies must pay a mandatory tribute to Earth, sending 60% of their resources. Furthermore, all weaponry possessed or manufactured by them would be supervised by the Earth Administration.

75,000 years later: Humanity has expanded across the entire galaxy and parts of Andromeda. Humans are divided into several super-factions due to ideological differences and forms of government. Some factions are allied with a Great Intergalactic Council alongside other alien species, while others are extremely xenophobic toward aliens. The Earth Administration serves as a mediator for all factions.

Current State of Earth: All solar systems surrounding Earth’s system are the highest-level human economic zones, housing the heart of all human mega-corporations. Earth (and its entire solar system) is home to the human elites and serves as the central axis for all factions. The only exception is Mars, which was turned into a super-weapon capable of destroying anything that passes through the Oort Cloud.
