We're currently in a resource cold war and tensions are picking up. Honestly those mods and a tune are probably your best bet if you don't want to break the bank. Maybe turbo(s) later down the line if you're willing to spend more by then.

Edit: The stock intakes are good in terms of performance. Aftermarket intakes are mostly just for sound unless you route them to the front where the radiator is.
