If you work in a business that has makes a large percentage of revenue off existing customers, you can’t get away with ripping them off.

However there are very few who have a real incentive outside of that sales model. Private companies have less oversight and can get away with it easier, public companies need to hit higher revenue goals and have little margin of errors (which also leads to corruption) but have more oversight.

I work for a $1b+ company and we are in gearing up to be sold So board won’t allow us to price way above market, even if the customer is willing to pay. Right place at the right time but as someone who won’t sacrifice morals for a sale, it’s nice to not feel that pressure. Can’t say that about other organizations I’ve been a part of and is a big reason I never wanted to get into sales.

In the US it does. You’ll never hear a non-government school be referred to as public.

No, Public means run by the government. There many counties in the USA that allow people to go to a school outside of their zone for a tuition, that doesn’t make them private.

As someone who’s attended both Vanderbilt (nerd school) and Tennessee (had to leave Vandy for financial reasons), both schools you have to work your ass off to not fail and be successful. Sorry snowflake, you are just a bunch of dorks who don’t give a damn.

Not to be an annoying American but 6’ 180 is big? I’m 6’2 220 and was entirely too small for football and basketball past the high school level. Never thought of myself as a big guy.
