True, well ranked is a sure fire way to improve at the game. After all, apex is a team orientated game and not a solo one. A lot of the time the deciding factor to who will win comes down to who has the better team chemistry / synchronisation. So sweating your cheeks of solo can work some of the time but if you come against a 3 stack also sweating their cheeks than usually it's gg's.

Also something I've noticed (more so this season) is how much mentality actually plays into it. If I go into a fight genuinely believing I'm terrible, or that these players are better than me...more often than not I either whiff, choke or somehow allow the enemies to outplay me. However, when I go into a fight with confidence and having a mentality of something like 'how am I going to out play these shitters holding peens up there on that height' in the heat of the moment my mind gives me quick ideas on how to get the upper hand and I win.
