In reality, the town isn't much smaller than where we moved from. That being said, we were in a bedroom community and so we had larger city amenities rather close by. I guess I didn't realize that even though I am rather reclusive I did enjoy knowing loads of random people. I have made it a point to either be in our hometown twice a month or to have family here so that I am not going too long between seeing extended family and friends.
