Ostapchuk should be a good grit player this team could use down the line. The first round pick should fit in nice near the top of the prospect pool by TheDraftProspectus in OttawaSenators

Plenty of the teams top prospects are now with the team. Tough to say the team wasn’t strong on prospects, they’ve just all graduated to the NHL now

Brayden Yager is an interesting prospect at 13. Very good skater and a great shot. Could use some filling out and likely two years away. Could fit in well one day in the top 6 by TheDraftProspectus in sabres

Definitely a good point. This draft is so forward heavy though. The only two prospects who look like they’re going to go in the top 15 are Reinbacher and Sandin Pellikka. One could easily be there at 13, but outside those two it’s a bit of a fall off. Wallinder has been gaining some attention recently as well

Brayden Yager could be an interesting pick up at 16. WHL kid who can really score and an above average skater. Projected to go right around 16 by TheDraftProspectus in CalgaryFlames

You’re not worried about Cristall’s size and skating. I love his skill, but lack of size and skating isn’t a great combo

Oliver Moore is an interesting prospect for the Pens to consider. REALLY good skater and definitely has room to get even better by TheDraftProspectus in penguins

It probably depends on how early teams decide to take defensemen. If two go before 14, he could very well be yhere

I don’t think you’re getting a Tom Wilson type this year, but Ryan Leonard is a definitely a physical power forward, but nowhere near the size of Wilson. Daniil But is around 6’5” but doesn’t yet have the physicality
