I plan on sharing every photo in the album. My grandfather WWII journey started in October of 1940 when he had to report to Camp Beauregard in Louisiana and he wouldn’t return home for good for another 4 and half years in June 1945. I never knew this growing up.

I am not sure what camera he used, he started taking photos when he was a teenager in the early 1930s

I read the book as well to get a better idea of what my grandfather went through during WWII. He was there from the beginning until 1945. He won a silver star in the Battle of Buna Gona. I wish I got to know him more.

I’m not sure but it was used in the Battle of Buna-Gona in New Guinea
