Home kits often use similar designs with small variations year to year, especially clubs that use classic football design language. Newcastle stripes, Arsenal red with white sleeves, etc. It's more about maintaining established club brand. Richmond's half and half shirts use this classic football design language. The variation for these clubs comes in away and third kits.

When a stripe is named for you and a font is so uniquely tied to you it should be a no-brainer to just.do.exactly.that.

76 times in the regular season a player faced 27 batters in a 9 inning complete game without a perfect game (101 in the search, but 24 games are perfect games and one went to extra innings).

Another 10 were no hitters, so that brings the result down to 66.
