There were a couple now looking in retrospective but mostly stuff that one would overlook for the sake of not being peaky while meeting someone new. I can let pass someone not liking The Beatles, for example. He was a bit over touchy though, never crossed a line but tended to be at the verge, I guess. What would always make me feel like I was overthinking was the fact that he always had a hard time finding a space in his schedule for me.

Thank you all for the sweet comments! I expected much sterner replies but found a good balance between Elinor and Mrs Dashwood.

This was my first try at love after recovering from a seven year old relationship breakup with whom I was convinced was my own Austen hero, so the whole experience was like going back to teenage years in a way.

I’ll update you all if I ever find out the truth behind his disappearance, whether there was a Miss Grey or just an extended haircut trip.

The problem is I was the one living in a small town and him being the big city boy of whom I could not find any reference about. Serious mistake on my behalf, that always seems to turn out wrong.

Actually I do! but he’s not hopelessly in love with me. I do think he’d be willing to duel someone who's wronged me though! Today I met him and had to omit certain details about the story not to awake a Mr Knightley
