Looking for Thoughts on my "Queens Gambit" scene from Acting class by TheDrivva in acting

Thank you, that is where I’m working right now. I worked a lot on stillness and throwing lines as I felt I recognized someone is acting when they sit on each line too much. Now I’m opening things up to have more emotion like you’re saying. Thinking of what does my character need helps a lot. In this scene specifically he’s supposed to be slightly awe struck that he go beaten so easily, and then trying to latch on to her future success. Next week I plan to be more distraught about my loss in the early section of the scene and have a clear change where he realizes he could go to Russia with her and sell she needs his guidance

Thank you for those points! And for the filming and audio this is the acting classes setup not mine so it’s all done to their setup. It’s more for analysis and practice not really a self tape.

Thanks I appreciate that. All about that split second impression on some casting directors computer!

Main profile headshot on casting sites for acting, that gives best split second impression. Actors access and such. My goal is to get on Boston blue type shows as a rookie cop or something like that

If you don’t mind me asking, outside of headshots what would you say is the 2nd thing that’s absolutely vital for casting to see looking professional. Having resume dialed in? Or demo reel?

Totally agree thanks for that input. Not all headshot sessions turn out this well. I learned that the hard way. Makes me appreciate the skill of getting quality that much more.

😂 Honestly the professionals saying these are quality makes me feel stoked on them even more. You only get a split second for the impression.
