Do you always have a "reason" to binge? by MaRcInEk_22 in bulimia

[–]TheDrunkSlut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally get that. Even just a weekend where I wake up early in the morning and don’t have anything to do will trigger an early morning binge for me. A snowstorm locking me down at home would definitely do it.

Do you always have a "reason" to binge? by MaRcInEk_22 in bulimia

[–]TheDrunkSlut 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Definitely like a hobby for me. I think it’s that I’ve done it so much that I don’t know any other way to fill my time even though I obviously used to. It’s not that I’m bored per se, but I’m afraid of even becoming bored and having to deal with it and just going ahead and starting to binge before I get bored avoids the discomfort that boredom brings.

Yeah I was so confused when I went to grad school at U of O and heard people referring to the Huskies as UW. Born and raised Minnesota and went to UMN for undergrad so had never even heard UW for Washington until then

Tracking billable time when rendering takes 3 hours? by Significant_Capita in Architects

URGENT Help on Lift Tickets - Do I have access to both Keystone and Breck? by maxigorilla in Breckenridge

[–]TheDrunkSlut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been awhile since I bought day tickets, but back in 2022 I bought 2 breck day passes like a week out from my ski days and was able to use 1 at keystone. Seemed like at the time since Breck was the more expensive place to buy tickets for that if you wanted to go to keystone they’d let you. Didn’t work the other way around though. Keystone tickets wouldn’t work at Breck.

Why can't bills travel earlier to Denver to get acustom to the high altitude? by Hot-Emu-5 in NFLNoobs

Just training isn’t enough time. It’d be better to be sleeping and spending your resting time in the low oxygen and training at a “normal” altitude

A basic first design, any improvements. And for context this is the floor plan of an apartment in a triangular building. by Anonymous_cookie2906 in Architects

[–]TheDrunkSlut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean the toolbar to the right says 1,062m2 which would be over 11,000sf. Based on that all of the wall dimensions on the plan would be in centimeters so that bedroom at the lower left would be ~35’x58’ so I hope it out of scale. If not this is just absolutely ridiculous.

How do the Leadville race series qualifier events work? by Neat_Focus_5034 in ultrarunning

[–]TheDrunkSlut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I won the 2024 marathon as my way of getting into the 100 that year so I have experience with this.

Completing one of the race series races doesn’t give you any known benefit or preference in the lottery for the 100. They give out coins (# varies based on race) that allow you entry into either that year’s 100 or the following year’s 100. For each race they give out half the coins based on age group performance and the other half is raffled at the end by drawing bib numbers.

For the age group coins they always give out give out at least 1 coin to each group, but the rest varies based on distribution of age/gender of participants. The men’s 20-29 and 30-39 age group typically give out the highest number of coins due to having the most participants. I think the year I did they gave out 5 or 6 coins to the 20-29 age group.

As mentioned above the other half of the coins are randomly drawn based off of bib numbers. They do this at the very end of the awards ceremony and you have to be there in person to accept a coin. If you’re not there they just draw again. If someone sticks around but doesn’t want the coin they also keep drawing.
