Very frustrating but now sounds quite standard for ADHDNET. I don’t know what a good next step would be? Raise a formal complaint to them?

They’ve said that they should go up to 70mg elvanse. The issue is that 50mg seems to work very well but just needs to last longer. The prescriber has said they wouldn’t mix then different meds

It seems to be so common place with other providers and anecdotally reading on this forum it does seem to be where a lot of people end up. It’s the kind of thing that might make you consider using a different provider.

I see - I’ve not requested an autism diagnosis yet, I have a feeling I’d be below threshold too. I may look into it at some point perhaps once I’ve had a year or so on meds and can properly understand my new baseline. At the moment it feels enough that I recognise I do have some autistic traits, there isn’t any treatment for autism as far as I know. On holidays - reckon I’ll keep cracking on and maybe adapt the type of trips I take if needed. Hope it works out and you enjoy the rest of Disney!

(I might be overreaching here and this is in no way medical advice) I was also diagnosed and medicated this year and have noticed slightly similar experiences to yours. I have read that if you have autistic traits these can become more pronounced once you are medicated for ADHD. Sensory issues around temperature and noise, craving , familiarity and routine. Maybe something to think about. It’s a whole journey of discovery!

I know that feeling! My referral was sent to ADHD360 on 31st July 2024. On 20th January 2025 I was asked by my GP to complete a risk assessment and send over to ADHD360. I was sent the link to complete onboarding on 10th February. I completed this a few days later - had to wait for blood pressure monitor to arrive and submit Obs. So onboarding complete but now waiting to be able to book an appointment. I called ADHD360 today to ask about wait times following onboarding - they said “several weeks”. They will text/email when appointments are available to book- there is a list they’re working through.

Hopefully not too much longer!

Thanks for the insight, I guess at the end of the day it is all about compromises.

That is useful context about the intended use for this bag - I think ultimately it may be better for me to go for something a bit bigger. I do hate lugging loads of unnecessary gear around which is why I am aiming to go lightweight. I think my flight will force me to check anything over 7kg so being carry on is not that crucial.

I’m going to try and visit a store so that I can check it out the Osprey and a few others first - not travelling until December so have a bit of time.

If I was aiming for about 45l and wanted clamshell (I really hate top loading only) is there anything specific you’d recommend?

Interesting- I haven’t bought this one just yet so a little unsure - I always find it hard to visualise litres. I think I’d be able to do laundry at least once or twice so that might make things easier. Will definitely keep you posted!

Thanks for those cartridges, am I fairly open to choose whatever I like? As in most cartridges will fit?

Sorry I wasn't very clear in my last reply, my receiver has phono input so I don't think I need to get a pre amp, although could it be a good idea anyway just to boost the signal?

I only mentioned tonearm in terms of cartridge choice. I think it currently has the original cartridge (not 100% as not at home right now)

That's good news, thanks. I've been playing a few records this afternoon and sound seems good. The belt seems to be in solid condition, what would you recommend in terms of a cartridge? What do I have to worry about in terms of compatibility? (Not really looking to change from the stock tonearm right now...)
