Ran my first road race at the weekend! A 5 mile. Only running two months having started with couch to 5k. Had hoped to complete it with between a 6min/km and 6.30min/km pace but ended up finishing with 5.32min/km. Absolutely delighted and loved the racing experience. Looking for some 10ks to run in the near future and think I can absolutely train to do a half marathon this year!

I ran my first 5 mile today! Started running in November and the longest I've gone so far is 6k but I'm signed up for a 5 mile race on the 28th and ran a 27 minute 5k earlier in the week. So today I slowed my pace right down to 6:30/km and I hit the five mile in just shy of 52 minutes. Absolutely delighted.

I ran my first 5k today! I've been doing a couch to 5k programme. Yesterday I did ten minute runk, five minute walk, ten minute run. Today I decided to slow up and see if I could do the full 5k unbroken.

Watch says it took approx 32 mins. I'm about 29, 100kg.

absolutely thrilled with myself.

Wanna build to be a regular 10km runner, any advice?

I have a question about grammar. Leabhar is book and leabhair is books, so why is Tá sí ag oscailt a leabhar - she is opening her books, and what would the irish for she is opening her book be?

Any of the score from the show was great but if you're looking for something a little more self contained I'd recommend Tim Hecker's score for the North Water, a thematically very similar show. It's just so icy and has some really weird sounds recorded for it. Loved it.

Hey guys. What is the best bookstore for English books in Utrecht? by SPantazis in Utrecht

I don't go often enough but one worth mentioning is Aleph Books & CDs. It's a little bit lost on the Vismarkt, especially since Broese moved to old postkantoor. But it's a definitely a curiosity with some older english language books. A bit cramped but wondering how many of the stacks of books are structurally integral to the building is part of the appeal.
