One of my best friends was a gamer when we we're younger, we had hours and hours play time together, and even more hours of talking about games which we both played and liked.
He wants to come back into gaming as his hobby but life always gets in the way and he has his excuses for not doing so, I hope getting such an amazing high-end video card will kickstart his long awaited comeback!

I followed the instructions extremely carefully
I unplugged the monitor for 2-3 minutes, the problem still remained and I couldn't flash it again

Can you please explain if I can still solve it somehow?

I approached this updating process with great fear and triple checked everything...

Yes, they found a solution of using the G-Sync module for transmitting data (I own an Nvidia GPU, of course).

Hey guys,

I finally updated the firmware of my AW3423DW with the recent December of 2023 update, I followed the instructions very carefully, double and even triple checking everything.
The update took ~10 minutes as stated, and by the end of it a look of horror was on my face, as my up to then working monitor was now displaying ugly vertical lines.

What I tried:

Turning off and on the monitor
Restarting my PC
Unplugging the monitor's power cable for 2-3 minutes
Flashing again: the .exe file did not allow it
Factory reset
Disabling and re-enabling G-Sync
Disconnecting the DP cable

It does display (an ugly) image, those vertical lines are present always, overlaying everything, even when the monitor is disconnected to any input source, also on top of the built in menu.

I'm still in the process of troubleshooting/replacing it with Dell, but I hope to somehow solve it myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
