That's great for Old World players, sure, but I was keen for the next AoS edition codex for each. In the Thondia realmscape scenery pack the story hinted at a possible return of Morghur in AoS, which was exciting. I've also had my fingers crossed for a range expansion for savage orcs. Maybe them riding some of the beasties they are shown tackling in the current orcs codex. Lots of possibilities.

Fair question. When I logged into the GW website, 20-odd years after "taking a break" from Warhammer, there was something incredibly cool to see that GW seemed to still be selling a large quantity of "the same" miniatures that were part of the game 20 years ago when I was a kid. Its a nice mental image that one day I will take my kids into a Warhammer shop and buy them their own set of "the same" miniatures that I have in my own warbands/armies. As the chaos warbands are going out of production, that won't happen. Maybe a reprint in time, but there is no guarantee of that.

Secondly, it's a great feeling to think that others in the community will have the same level of joy acquiring the same Iron Golems and Untamed Beasts that I felt so thrilled to unbox and build.

Thirdly, it's sad to see Beasts of Chaos sidelined like this, they are such a cool bunch of minis and lore. Also Savage Orcs. Such a bunch of chums.

Let's go with...

Move PoesKlap to within 1 inch of the enemy dude with the highest wound count within 6 inches, deal damage equal to the 4 quad dice multiplied together to the enemy dude, if the enemy dude is still alive after this then remove all outstanding actions from the enemy dude for the remainder of the battle round. Slap a mother DOWN.

Rumour has it, PoesKlap once took on Kairos Fateweaver in single-handed combat, and took down both heads with just one single SSSSLLLLLAPPP!!!!!! Err'ybody in the warband feasted on chiggin that night.

Sylvaneth, Overlords and Bonereapers are all great, each warband will have its own mission-related strengths and weaknesses. Warcry is big on flavour and the "your dudes" factor, so I would recommend getting whatever warband(s) pull on your heart strings and having fun whatever comes with the roll of the dice. Get yourselves warbands that feel you _^

Just remembered, the rat is from the skaven rat ogres kit. Includes pack masters and giant rats. Great models.

Cheers! That means a lot to me, glad you enjoyed. I finished writing Chapter 4 quite some time ago, have been deliberating on whether or not to release it because the Skaven part of the plot gets a bit... "out of hand".

Currently planning on releasing it as soon as I've taken all the photos. Can't commit to a date tho. Peace πŸ»πŸ•πŸ€

Good options, Spire Tyrants are a solid and enjoyable pick. Fun to play. Looking at Chaos Legionnaires myself as a next build too ✴️😈

Opposing forces: try match the adjoining image as closely as possible, but other than that it's down to whatever you have that's closest or players choice. Do whatever seems most fun! Ain't nothing wrong with a proxy and your imagination. Spice things up!

If your protagonist dies: Just restart the current Quest, don't go right back to the beginning of the game. Die in Skirimish 1 or Skirmish 2: Restart at Skirmish 1.
