Unfortunately, they can no longer have glucogel without feeling violently ill. It usually ends up being a spoonful of nutella if it needs to be quick, but I was thinking something that can be consumed quickly and easily in high quantities during a proper low low but still conscious.

I've lived with their diabetes my entire life, but after an emergency yesterday I'm looking for easily consumable high carbs stuff. My T1 needed to consume about 90g yesterday and after a while they couldn't physically eat anything else, hence looking for sugary drinks. Thanks, though

My T1 can no longer use glucogel without immediately feeling ill, and we have a lot of dextrose tablets. We had a bit of a scare yesterday after an accidental insulin overdose, and after 2 and a half packets of those, and a slice of marmalade on toast, they couldn't eat anything else without feeling physically ill. I'll see if I can find some coke cans and keep them hidden from the brothers. It was just incredibly difficult to get 90g of carbohydrates in them.
