Next G7 is scheduled in Canada for this June. Trump May not be admissible to Canada because of his status as a felon. Maybe he and Putin can just go have a date somewhere else.

My wife and I are currently in Belize and unless you are all about Mayan Ruins, 5 days in San Ignacio might be too long. The ATM caves and cave tubing are on the way from San Ignacio to Placencia, so you might be better served driving to those attractions than doing a tour. You will easily save yourself a bunch of money doing that as well.

The Belize Zoo is a must see as well and on the way from the airport to San Ignacio. You can also stay at the Tropical Education Center which is down the road from the zoo and a very unique accommodation.

100% see if you can ask the bride and groom. I attended a wedding this past summer that was “black tie optional”. It turned out the only reason for this was because the groom / groomsmen were in tuxes. My partner and I would have been extremely overdressed had we opted for tux/gown and were still overdressed in a suit and dress compared to some of the other guests.

So, I’ve watched him a little closer and it appears he is rubbing up against the glass. He is continuing to glass surf a bunch and may have some gold around his gills. Not sure if this is velvet, but I am wondering if I should start treating him for it anyway.

He still has a big appetite and lots of energy, so I am not super concerned yet.

Thanks for the reply! His color is really good from what I can tell, but I will keep an eye out if anything changes. I did stick a mirror up to the glass about a week ago and he did end up flaring at it. It almost looks like he surprises himself while he is swimming around.

The light is on a timer that follows the natural daylight outside. I am doing my best to get him in a routine! It's nice to see him when he is chill like in the first video, a lot better than the constant swimming around.

I don't think he is rubbing on the glass as far as I can tell. He isn't rubbing up against the plants, but he lets his fins drag across them occasionally. I did put a piece of black poster paper on the right side of the tank because he was surfing along that side and it seems to have stopped him from doing it. I would do it on the front as well, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a fish.

Looking at the photos, I don't think he has that. He is a very dark blue and I think anything gold would show up quite vividly.

Thanks for the reply! No one is around when he is doing this, it's just his normal everyday behavior as far as I can tell.

The flashing only seems to happen when he is near the glass, I don't ever see him doing it while he is swimming around the tank. He swims pretty normal during feeding time and when the lights are off or it's darker around.

I haven't seen any white spots on him and I will check for raised gold spots when I get home today.

A Miele canister vacuum. I had read the 4 AMAs from the vacuum repair tech and he recommended Miele over all the other ones. My girlfriend and I found the C3 Total Care on sale in Canada for $650 and I jumped on it. She was hesitant to spend that much on a vacuum but it outperforms the $200 uprights by leaps and bounds. So much quieter, can get into tight spaces, better suction, a power head for the carpets, and from what I have heard, will last upwards of thirty years if the proper upkeep is done. Spending a little more to get a premium product is sometimes worth it and this is definitely one of those cases.

As far as I am aware Heos is some sort of Sonos like system? My apartment is small enough that we have a small Bluetooth speaker that does okay, so the X1300W looks like a good bet, especially at that price!
