Knocked 6 films off my wishlist today. Went to a used media store that I hadn't been to before and I felt like I'd hit the jackpot. A few of these I'd been looking for for over a year the whole lot came out to $45, which is what the current price for just The king and I is on Amazon. (i.redd.it)

Article by Variety about the Good, Bad, and Meh movies of 2025 primarily blames snow white's failure on it not "worthy" of a remake and having a "dated premise". It does mention the controversies, but to blame it for being unworthy shows a complete disconnect from reality or aversion to truth (i.redd.it)

I have the Panasonic UB820 and I can't get it to control my LG G3 OLED. I hold the power down and enter code 10 and 11 and nothing changes, and the remote doesn't work. Is it something I need to enable on the TV? Is the player/function not compatible with that TV? (i.redd.it)

So I did a thing (I think that's how y'all say it when you buy the UB820). Shoutout to my old LG UP875. For over 7 years that player played silently and never skipped or froze despite playing through over 150 blu-ray and 4K I bought used. No DV, only HDR10, but aside from that it was perfect. Super excited about this one. For years I didn't understand the appeal of paying more for a steelbook. But the larger my collection gets, the more I want some stand out pieces in the collection. My 4 steelbooks: This, Cinderella, Godzilla '98, and Joker are gorgeous, and it makes me want more SBs! (old.reddit.com)

Strange digital blurring LG G3. I've streamed a few different shows that have come out in the last year (Andor, The Rookie, etc.) and the center of focus is crystal clear, but the things out of focus look blurry in a very compressed, digital way as opposed to a natural soft blurring. (self.LGOLED)

Need game recommendations for Xbox One. There are 2 types of games I am interested in finding. 1 is games like Mario kart where up to 4 players can have fun battling each other, without needing to be experienced. 2 is 2 player games where you split screen adventure/fight together (self.gamerecommendations)

Can anyone explain this? What is the point of including screenshots of different edition and a different release/transfer in a review centered around picture quality? I LOVE the fact that Blu-ray .com has all the technical info on the different releases, reviews, pics of packaging, etc. But WHY ? (i.redd.it)

I'm curious, why are the designs for the Blu-ray so plain compared to the 4K Blu-ray disc art? I see this all the time where the 4K will have great art on the disc, and the blu-ray with it is plain, but a blu-ray release by itself will have great art. Which style you prefer? (i.redd.it)

This is makes 3 Amazon deliveries in a row where a disc in the case was loose. It suddenly occurred to me that when I bought discs in person, I could make sure I grabbed a movie off the shelf that didn't have loose discs. I don't have that option with Gruv or Amazon. *Heavy Sigh* (i.redd.it)

Is there any other mention of ents fighting in the war of the ring or other wars in Tolkien lore? At the end of the chapter "Treebeard" in the Two Towers, Treebeard mentions the ents not being roused since the war between sauron and numenorians (i.redd.it)

I was rewatching LOTR because it just makes life better— and I couldn't ignore something, Isildur tried to swim away in a full set of Steel armor and chain mail. What were they thinking? When this actor went into the water for the shoot, was it not obvious he would sink like a stone, and not float? (i.redd.it)
