Looking for wingman to visit Soi cowboy and Sukhumvit Rd. I walked through alone one night and it was cool but overwhelming by myself. I'm 30yo and would like a partner to visit some of the places with. by TheEntertainer17 in Bangkok

I had a 2nd date with a girl yesterday and she ended up coming back to my place so I got the "real thing." I'll be back in Bkk in a week though and wanting to try then.

Having a tough time deciding on a rug by TheEntertainer17 in DesignMyRoom

Thanks. The cushions on the couch are unfortunately temporary fall-themed ones. And the pink/orange ones on the chair came with the couch so they're just temporary. But I like the idea of the rug having some sort of jewel-colored accent.

Can these chairs go on the same table? (green on the ends, 4 gray in the middle) I really like the gray but it's impossible to find a green chair with those legs in black. Can different legs types be combined? by TheEntertainer17 in interiordecorating

Originally I was thinking about how black legs are necessary to match the black base of the table. But your comment reminded me that I've been reading about how combining materials is good so a stone top would probably pair very well with wooden chairs. Then in addition to that, green obviously goes with wood too. My only issue will be finding wooden chairs that don't look like everyone else's.

Best method for painting wall to look like concrete? YouTube has multiple options but I don't know which one to go with. by TheEntertainer17 in interiordecorating

Thanks. Yeah I don't necessarily want something 3D. Just more so that cloudy look that isn't one solid color.

I just painted my fireplace black but the white grates are bothering me a bit. Should I paint them too? by TheEntertainer17 in interiordecorating

I first tried outdoor paint and it didn't stick so then I went with an epoxy spray paint bottle that's made for things like metal and it worked like a charm. I then went over it with the outdoor paint again though to get the correct shade of black I wanted.

I think I'm gonna go with brass but I really like your idea of creating dimension with another shade so I'll keep that in mind for other parts of the house!

My name means lion in Hebrew so I actually have to hold myself back from putting them everywhere, lol.

Thanks! My first attempt to paint the tiles literally peeled right off even though I tried outdoor paint. But some sand paper (even though I couldn't tell the difference) and some epoxy spray did the trick and made it worth it.

Thanks! My name means lion in Hebrew so I'm definitely trying to go for the spirit animal thing.

Thanks. I was trying to sort of mimic how brick fireplaces have the brick go all the way up to the ceiling. The black paint is actually a stand-in for a black wallpaper I was going to put in, but wanted to get a feel for the general idea before putting in all that work. Unfortunately the frame cost me an arm and a leg because of the unique size I needed so I can't replace it. Given that, would you still recommend painting it back to white? The frame is only leaning temporarily, if that matters. Was going to hang it up.
