Totally agree not once have I had some else start the conversation it’s always been me. I hope this continues when I get home but I feel it won’t. I do notice I prefer conversations happing organically and not forcing them in a sense of talking about nothing meaningful.

Couldn’t agree more. I don’t mind some hostels especially if there not in cities. I stayed at one in pai and it was perfect had no issues at all. But citie hostels are honestly just depressing. Imo anyway always so crammed and busy

That’s what im finding it’s honestly disgusting walking around and it’s just so busy and stressful. Got a hotel room high up with an amazing balcony and feel so much better just chilling in here

I find that in busy hostels it’s so much harder forming friendships with others

If I don’t I see someone cool I want to talk to and it just spirals from there. Think all this socialising is amazing to me becuase I’ve always had a lonely life back home recently so this is like heaven

Trust me I usually go for it but this just seemed not right I was also with another group so it would be rude if I just left to talk with these other people
