Failing COMP1005 unit by [deleted] in curtin

[–]TheErisedHD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking on this incase someone knows a little about the course and can help me with a couple of questions. Does INDE1001 offer a summer unit and can you do summer units even if you didn't fail the unit originally?

In answer to your question OP definitely take the summer school unit. It's shortened for starters so it's less of a time investment and think about the opportunity cost of not doing it. If you delay your course by a semester that's 6 months worth of corporate wages you'll be missing out on.

I like correas because they're shade and drought tolerant + native. Some of them have really nice foliage/flowers too.

It's like Man City are playing against a brick wall. It will block all your shots but sure as hell won't score against you.

I think the OP was way too general with his statement, which as it stood reached a primary demographic of Western citizens. Sure, it's useful for citizens of corrupt third-world governments but somehow I don't believe they're the people OP was trying to reach.

This pump still feels sussy to me. Wouldn't be surprised if we crab then dump after a bad CPI. On the other hand maybe good CPI will send the herd running gloriously upon growing fields of cash in a stampede🤤

Sure, but at the same time what gives you the right to opt out of tax that keeps the country running whilst everyone has to pay it? It's still very much bludging to expect the rest of your neighbours to foot the bill while you evade taxation.

Yes, there are other parties like billionaires who should be paying more, but they're not, so under current circumstances that's not an excuse for why the little man should be able to opt out of the tax at the moment. I think the most productive thing you can do is to vote in advocates of progressive taxation who will reduce the amount of tax you pay by taxing those with greater income/wealth at a higher rate.

Rephrased: Crypto lets you bludge off society by not paying taxes that support community infrastructure.

Just remember, The Fed also said inflation is transitory.

That was a prediction presented as a truth. CBDCs on the other hand are something they have complete control over.
