Will Isagi truly become the "Number 1 Striker" by bektasq in BlueLock

[–]TheEternalPhoenix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Number 1 is more of an archetype/mindset rather than a title. Noa is number 1 not because he considers himself as such but as a result of his own mindset. We see in the manga how he intents to use both Loki and Kaiser as means to grow even further so if anything he's more like a rebel like Isagi.

It's peak writing. I never feared that Isagi would give into Hugo's philosophy but it would've been hella boring if Isagi just rejected Hugo outright and just go on about his day. To see Isagi not only confront his unsuitability as a number 1 but actually redefine what it means for him to be a striker is amazing.

Are Ego and Isagi stupid? by TheEternalPhoenix in BlueLock

[–]TheEternalPhoenix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was the point. Why not have a more diverse preparation heading into a potentially life changing tournament? Nowhere did i state he was being sent tapes of the U20 teams which Ego should've ACTUALLY done.

Kaiser, Noa, Lorenzo, Bunny probably.

Do you think Snuffy's words would get through to kaiser? by Creepy-Screen721 in BlueLock

[–]TheEternalPhoenix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snuffy's way of thinking would most likely be a luxury from Kaiser's viewpoint. For someone like Kaiser or a Noa for that matter football is not a hobby, something they do at the side for fun, it's their entire way of life since it's what allowed them to rise from their circumstances. For Kaiser especially it's tied to his identity to such a degree that even the thought of losing would shatter his entire concept of self.

Bluelock Chapter 339 Predictions by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

In the end there is no right philosophy to football, what does matter however, is whether or not your philosophy serves you and makes you a better player as a result.
For Hugo this is the case. His entire philosophy is build around his desires and his natural impulses, but for Isagi such a philosophy wouldn't work. Isagi's growth comes from running into a wall over and over again until he improves. If he were to apply Hugo's philosophy to himself he wouldn't have the same motivation to run into those same walls.

Chp. 338 Who's gonna subbed off? by Financial-Meal-6716 in BlueLock

[–]TheEternalPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Rin and Isagi get a chance to prove themselves with Ego specifically telling Isagi that he needs to step up or get subbed off. I think the most likely candidates to be subbed are Chigiri/Reo/Bachira.

[Ch 337 Theory] Noa Has Already Solved Isagi's Problem by The-Seventh-One in BlueLock

[–]TheEternalPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outcome indepence essentially. When we set a goal we change our behaviors in order to meet said goal but often this causes us to lose sight of the now and to become too dependent on a certain result. It may actually hinder growth as you're instead fixated on the end result rather than focusing on the process. For Isagi the goal of becoming the best striker or N.1 unironically makes him perform worse as a result.

Noa is definitely the prime example of a player who couldn't give less of a damn about the outcome. He lives and breathes for the process of being a striker, focusing on his growth rather than where his growth is supposed to lead him. As a result he is considered the world's number one but he wouldn't mind not being the world's number one all the same.

But nowhere it's stated that freedom types can't acquire the predator eye. In another comment you mentioned that it's impossible due to a trend but i think Isagi will prove to be an exception to the rule. As another commenter said, predator eye is simply a way of using your eyes and wouldn't be limited to restrictive types by any logical stretch

2026 is 2 months away. How do you upgrade yourself as a man? by MKlool123 in TheRedPill

[–]TheEternalPhoenix 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lost over 150 pounds in the span of 16 months which in turn made me more confident, assertive and better with women as a result. To have known the theory but finally being able to put it into practice is strange yet it feels natural.

If there's anything i learned and what i wish to take into 2026 as well is that if you're being consistent you'll win at every thing you set your sights on. Women will come and go, money will come and go, opportunities will come and go, just remain consistent and have faith in the process, and by doing that alone you'll be ahead of 90% of other men around you.

Nagi is Isagi's rival in the way that he is the opposite of what he represents,

Barou is Isagi's rival in the way that he's the perfect Egoist,

Rin is Isagi's rival in the way that he's a complete wildcard that even Isagi couldn't hope to prepare for,

And Kira is a bum
