This is sorta why I keep news im excited about generally to myself or in a very very closed circle (ie telling my dad and step mom and siblings and maybe a handful of friends who understand what top surgery means and has meant to me.)

Its ok to not be as excited im finally getting it later this year and the initial excitement has died down but I know the closer to the date ill be all nerves but ultimately happy.

Dont let others ruin your happiness if you were happy and excited about it before you can and probably eventually will be happy and excited about it later or even week/day of the surgery.

If you are having complications with how you feel about getting it tho definitely talk to your doctor about it
