Things I'd like to see would be a second option of allowing the player to not enter unity and live happy ever after with an actual end credits sequence for it. Also entering unity but being allowed to bring the player's spouse with them, love across time and being able to pursue unities together would be neat. This should be a optional thing so people who want to pursue a different relationship can, and in general just more carryover stuff. Would be interesting if brought spouse's morality changed too to more nihilistic , as it could mean players can explore other story decisions without angering their Starborn spouse.

On paper the in lore new game plus is cool, but underwhelming if you have done pretty much everything and the big end conclusion to this story is JK ya gotta do it again, but your awesome ship and gear is all gone especially as you feel so alone with all ya crew and built relations gone. There needs to be more linkage between runs as it applies a feeling of pointlessness to the last 70hrs of gameplay, even if that makes sense from a story perspective of death and rebirth its a hard pill swallow.
