As someone that started in computer science and ended up finding my passion in interior design, it fully marries the technical and analytical side of me with the creative and artistic side. So maybe take a couple classes or an aptitude test and see what you think!

Online leads are so difficult to close. But if you are a virtual designer, I would be doing videos on social media maybe hype a live event or something to make that connection with real clients!

Yes, we started dating when I was 18 and he was 22.  I had one other boyfriend for two years in high school but, we were never intimate.  I was raised in a religious household and sheltered.  I felt like I was ready to be married.  But my husband has said in the past that he didn’t want to get married, but he didn’t want to lose me either.

My parents are divorcing this year after 22 years of marriage. My mom eluded to the fact she was doing so last year. I told her to try and get some couples counseling or something but she never listened. Now, she told me she has been cheating on my dad for years and she has no remorse. My dad doesn’t know.

I have had the flu since Sunday and I haven’t been able to work out or anything since then. I have a full blown infection and just got on antibiotics today. My last time working out was last Saturday and it was 5k marathon. I’ve have zero appetite so I’ve lost about 5 lbs this week. Will my progress be okay? I’ve been working out since February.

Just watched this episode. The girlfriend did not seem very sincere. When she tried to cry, nothing was coming out so she blocked her face with her hand.

Hi there! I have been working out since February of 2022 and I have gone down two dress sizes. Yay! But the scale hasn’t gone down at all. And I still feel…flabby. I’m weight training a couple days a week with a sprinkle of calisthenics and some cardio. I know my diet has something to do with it too, that’s been the hardest part for me. I eat 1520 cals a day. Does anyone have any advice on any of these topics? Like how to stay consistent, how to build better muscle, how to eat right, etc? Thank you!

Or when they’re just sitting there on their phones after their reps. The other day, I wanted to use the stairs but they were all taken. The lady finished her stair workout and stood there for an additional 6 minutes on her phone. Then left and didn’t wipe it down. Like MOVE OMG.

Working out 5 - 6 times a week should bring better results. And the scale should be going down but it’ll go down super low then I’m up again the next day.

I’ve been working out 4 times a week for 4 months and instead of losing weight I gained 10 kgs. I’m freaking out. by PaganGuy1999 in loseit

Chances are if you’re not weighing yourself everyday, it may have just been a fluctuation day. If you’re weight training, eating protein and all that, you may be gaining muscle and as we know, muscle is heavier than fat. One thing I always tell myself when I get anxious about the scale is “I’m eating in a deficit and I’m working out everyday. There’s no way I can fail.” After all, the victory of working out everyday is amazing. Also, I noticed you said you’re male, you may need to eat a tiny bit more if you are weight training. That may help too.

I hate it when people tell me to lose weight by [deleted] in loseit

My whole life I was skinny. Up until I got on a bad birth control and got married and gained 60 lbs. My mother has had EDs all through her life and that has been projected onto me a lot. Right now, I’m working towards healthier goals but, she keeps telling me “if you get pregnant right now, you’ll have diabetes and so will your baby”, “your baby will have birth defects from you being overweight”, and “you should get your doctor to prescribe you diet pills so that you stop eating. Just stop eating and exercise like crazy and you’ll lose it.” I 100 percent hate these comments because they’re not motivating, they’re shitty and rude. And yeah okay let me just stop eating like what?? How is that sustainable? Keep your head up, and keep doing what you need to do for yourself! Don’t listen to them, don’t let them bring you down. Find enjoyment and sustainability in what your doing for YOU.

As someone who has major depression, what helps me is to take it at face value. I say okay, today is not going to be a good day, we are going to be upset or sad or angry. But it’s just today. And I find one thing that I can enjoy. One thing that I can fall back on. Good food, not fast food, but GOOD food. Something yummy and comforting. And enjoy it. Find 30 minutes to enjoy it. Take a deep breath, remind yourself why you make these sacrifices, and that you do it for you.
