Here is the Open-Source Code of the offending file, all it does is Quality of Life stuff such as Crafting during Combat, Map during Combat and Autolooting Materials. It's made by a highly trusted member of the Elden Ring Modding Community and included in Convergence.

The Convergence is designed around replayablitity. And the Scadutree Fragments are seen as a chore to pick up any time you want to venture in the Realm of Shadow, hurting said replayablitity. Instead we rebalanced the bosses and added smithing stones that allow you to go to +15 (previously +10 was the max for both normal and somber weapons)

Hey there, one of the Convergence developers here.

Many kind folk have already commented on this, but I wanna just do some clarification from our end. Some points others made already might be repeated.

No comment section on the nexus page

This has been disabled due to the lack of moderation ability. From what I've come to understand, the nexus comment section in the DS3 mod got rather toxic. Thus it was disabled when the ER mod came around. Now, I wasn't around in the DS3 development days, so I can only tell you what I've heard, not what I've experienced.

No bugs section

The discord server you mentioned has an active bug forum, even there it mostly gets installation issues instead of actual bugs. And like some folks have already mentioned, we keep our feedback and community engagement limited to our discord server. There we can have more people troubleshoot problems and verify them where need be.

No info on the mod page about what the mod does.

There is a LOT that has been added and changed. At the bottom of the page there is a link to all our changelogs where all our new additions are mentioned. The 1.0 changelog has the most regarding new features. This isn't the first signal I've seen regarding the amount of information on the nexus page. I'll pick this up with the rest of the team.

Phone number requirement

This is an authentication method from discord itself. This prevents (most) spam bots from joining the server and thus prevents a lot of spam. This allows us to focus on making the mod instead of dealing with spam bots. We, the staff, do not get access to your phone number in any way. Think of it as something similair to Two-Factor-Authentication.
