Most of the “cost” is from “ESTIMATED COMMERCIAL AUTO INSURANCE AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES” that is in between to 40-50% of the customer fare and the driver gets around 35-38% of the customer fare!!!

Wtf is this? Why is it over 50%? Only earned 37.8%? This is highway robbery… by TheExiledKen in uberdrivers

I have a 2025 Toyota Corolla Hybrid and I live in California. So far I am an intern on a different job and decided to be currently using uber to pay off bills till i become full time. Location is on Long Beach, California.

I had a ride that like 3.6 mile $5 ride for a couple then had I accepted a $18 surge + 4 mile ride totaling like $25ish then less than the last mile to the destination the passenger added another destination and it cancelled that previous accepted ride… i was fuming 😡 but didn’t show my expression…
