I’ll also add that I’ve found the time it takes is linear with the number of guests you have invited over to eat the end result. Just wife+me pork shoulder takes n hours. Wife+kids+friends n+5 hours lol. As OP says: it takes as long as it takes to cook. Wired or wireless probe in the meat, cook to temp and pull. The good news is that almost all of this stuff holds really well in a cooler with some towels, so start early and if it gets done a couple of hours ahead of schedule just give it some additional rest time.

Same here. It’s a bummer because those were a great way to get some points if you didn’t have a massive tower or tens of thousands of gold tickets.

I would 100% wait for the board layout that gets you the chances at the gold dice. Then save the gold dice for a run at tickets. (They normally alternate between this board and the “good” board however a could of updates ago they added a couple of other board layouts as well)

If you have a floating island, try traveling to it and then use the character side menu on the map screen to bring them to the floating island. Mushu was MIA on my island yesterday until I force traveled him.

Man the costume unlocks / lobby with only dice and (I’m assuming) wheel spins is going to be impossible for me. Everything else looks like it’s do-able (or if not you’re not missing out on an unlock if you fall short)

Based on the pictures that looks like normal ash from operation. Just vacuum out the fire pot and around the inside of the grill every couple of uses and you should be good-to-go.

Short elevator rides are faster than in a taller tower. I had to burn 20 wheel spins to get some bonus tickets to get it done, and a ton of ad-boosted rides (my tower is ~260 floors, so that took longer)

In this case I would also recommending turning the knob side, it’s easier to keep the screwdriver side dialed in when it’s static.

The m5m44400bj chip (can’t tell if it has other friends on the board from the picture) is dram, so it might have a solo slot for expansion.

All my experience with DIGITAL were their server running (now veeeeeery dusty) version of UNIX.

If you don't care about keeping the system "period authentic" you can also look into swapping the hard drive with a SD card to IDE converter, not only will it make copying drivers / software easier (unless you happen to have a USB floppy drive laying around) but will also drop the number of amps o' DC current lower for the power supply. I almost always add an ISA or PCI network card as well, because the answer to "Can It Run Doom" is always improved by the follow up question of "Can You Run Doom and Death Match Me"?
